Keen to shape the Judge.me Product Reviews app product line? We’re looking for a Product Owner to lead the technical development and launch of new app features. This role will be based in London, where we’re building out our global headquarters.

Responsibilities

1. Implement feature roadmap for the Judge.me Product Reviews app and manages the development cycle:

  1. Understand vision from management, and work with design and engineering teams to flesh out detailed specifications for developers.

  2. Scope project builds: Break larger projects into phases, and give completion estimates and progress updates to the management team.

  3. Lead product development: ensure what is built meets specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.

  4. Work with marketing to publicize new features and instructional content.

  5. Validate your product. Measure the quantitative and qualitative impact of features.

 

2. Prioritize product development requests 

  1. Manage incoming requests from internal and external clients (e.g. customer support, marketing, operations, app integration partners). Prioritize requests and escalate to decision-makers as appropriate. 

  2. Ensure requests are complete and contain enough info for decision-making and subsequent implementation by the engineering team.

 

3. Create and maintain processes to gather feedback and make routine updates

  1. Bugs: Maintain backlog, work with QA to verify bugs, and developers to fix them.

  2. Smaller UI/UX updates: work with design to improve user experience.

  3. Others: Translations, integrations.

 

4. Internal communication

  1. Ensure goals are aligned within the product team and other stakeholders. 

  2. Keep other departments updated about features and policy changes.

  3. Support other teams if they have product-related questions.

 

Requirements

  • Product Owner experience. Eager to take ownership and lead an international, cross-functional team and talk design, tech (with developers), and marketing.

  • Business-driven and results-oriented. Able to manage conflicting priorities, focus on building what will make the most business impact, and provide validation of that.

  • Customer-focused and UX-minded product evangelist. Excited to learn all about our products and share them with our users!

  • Technically minded. A logical thinker who considers multiple scenarios and flows. Used to assessing risks in uncertain situations.

  • Excellent communicator with fantastic written and spoken English. Detail-oriented with the ability to write copy and proofread publicity materials.

 


The ideal candidate will have

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, as well as in the review apps space.

  • Some complementary skill sets, for example, in areas like growth-hacking, go-to-market, data analysis, statistics and machine learning, UX research, or design.

  • Familiarity with our toolsets: Asana, Figma, Google Analytics + Tag Manager + Data Studio, Metabase, Google Suite, Hotjar.

  • Morning person: Working hours are somewhat flexible, but a good part of the time involves working with the development team in Vietnam, so someone who likes to start and end the day early is ideal.

  • Have an investment mentality, and want to build for the long term.

Compensation and Benefits

  • £45,000 - £80,000 per annum based on experience.
